Trent Williams — Dog Trainer & Specialist.
I've spent the last decade-plus working with hundreds of dogs across nearly every breed — from skittish rescues to high-drive working dogs. The thread that ties them all together is pretty simple: dogs do best when their humans understand them, and the same is true the other way around.
Civil Canines is the way Ally and I share that work. She's hand-in-hand with me on every program, and helps introduce dogs to children — teaching kids to be calm and gentle, and teaching dogs that kids are part of the family they get to protect and love.

We don't believe in one-size-fits-all training. Some dogs need confidence; some need calm; some need outlets for energy that has nowhere to go. We start every program by getting to know your dog — and your family — so we can build a plan that actually fits.
Our methods are firm and consistent without being harsh. We focus on the relationship, because that's what holds up after training is over. The goal isn't a dog who obeys — it's a dog who's tuned in to you, and a household that feels easier as a result.
